…And then we were born

It’s hard to declare when Halfway Home officially came to be. Did it happen at the moment of the idle doodle in class, where the margins of the paper were more vivid than the proper space? That was about 20 years ago. Did it happen when I told someone else about Halfway Home for the first time? That was a bit over a year ago.

I am pretty sure that, in a sense, we didn’t come to exist until there was tangible music for someone to listen to. So by that measure, we’ve existed for 20 years, but were born today, on Spotify.
